Accessibility Statement

FinecoBank SpA is committed to making its website accessible, in accordance with Italian Law No. 4 of January 2004.

This Accessibility Statement applies to FinecoBank SpA for the following website https://about.finecobank.com/

Compliance status

This website is partially compliant with the requirements of Annex A of UNI EN 301549 (WCAG 2.1) due to the cases of non-compliance and/or exceptions listed below.

Not accessible contents

The contents listed below are not accessible for the following reasons: Non-compliance with Italian Law 4/2004.

In order to produce this accessibility statement, we took into account the WCAG 2.1 standards and the user experience of a test panel made up of people with different disabilities who tested the site. They used assistive technologies such as the main screen readers (Jaws, NVDA or VoiceOver), whose purpose is to interpret the contents of the page and present them as voice output. The test results show that most of the functions and pages on this website are accessible. Nevertheless, some users may encounter difficulties in using certain content. The non-conformities and success criteria that have been violated are listed below:

1.1.1 Non-textual content: some images have alternative texts that are inconsistent with the message conveyed visually. For example, on the ‘INITIATIVES/ART AND CULTURE’ page.

1.4.4 Text resizing: when increasing the text display settings to 200%, some content overlaps or disappears from the interface, for example on the ‘HOMEPAGE’.

2.4.4 Link purpose: the purpose of some links cannot be determined from the link text or from the contextual content text that can be determined programmatically. For example, on the manager profile detail page. In addition, there are empty links on the ‘MEDIA’ page.

2.4.6 Headings and labels: Heading levels are not always used consistently on the website pages; for example, the H1 heading level is missing on the ‘SDIR AND STORAGE’ page.

2.4.7 Visible focus: the focus of the header is not always visible. For example, it is not visible around the panels on the ‘GOVERNANCE/ASSEMBLY’ page.

3.3.2 Labels or instructions: the input fields on the ‘MEDIA’ page have no labels.

4.1.2 Name, role, value: users navigating with assistive technologies cannot perceive that the ‘Activities’ item in the main menu is expandable and therefore has sub-items.

Finally, it should be noted that some PDF documents that can be downloaded from the site are partially readable for screen reader users because they lack hierarchical structure (summary, headings, internal links) and text alternatives.
