Accessibility Statement

FinecoBank SpA is committed to making its website accessible, in accordance with Italian Law No. 4 of January 2004.

This Accessibility Statement applies to FinecoBank SpA for the following website

about.finecobank.com/en/

Compliance status

This website is partially compliant with the requirements of Annex A of UNI EN 301549:2018 (WCAG 2.1) due to the cases of non-compliance and/or exceptions listed below.

Not accessible contents

The contents listed below are not accessible for the following reasons:

Non-compliance with Italian Law 4/2004.

We considered WCAG 2.1 accessibility standards and the user experience of a test panel consisting of people with different disabilities who tested the website, using assistive technologies (e.g., screen readers for blind users).

Some users may experience difficulties when interacting with some pages or functions. Violations of accessibility standards are listed below.

3.1.1 Page language: the page language attribute has not been set. As a result, assistive technologies may not recognize the language used.

2.4.6 Headings and labels: heading levels are not always used consistently; for example, there are two elements associated with heading level H1 on the home page.

2.1 Keyboard Accessible: This website allows keyboard navigation, and the focus is always visible. There is one exception, however: in the “Media” page, keyboard users cannot filter the contents, the keyboard focus is not visible, and therefore access to documents may be difficult.

1.1.1 Non-text content: in some cases, the alternative text that makes visual elements accessible to assistive technologies has not been inserted correctly. For example, the “PDF” icons for downloading news and press releases in the “Media” section have no alternative text.

1.4.3 Contrast (minimum): this website does not meet the minimum contrast ratio required by accessibility standards. For example, in the main menu, the contrast between the light blue text and the white background is not sufficient.

3.3.2 Labels or instructions: some interface elements lack labels. Therefore, some specific interactions may be difficult for users using assistive technologies. For example, on the “Media” page, the calendar function is not accessible for screen reader users.

Finally, it should be noted that PDF documents downloadable from this website are partially accessible for screen reader users because they lack accessibility features such as hierarchical structure, headings, hyperlinks, and text alternatives.
