Accessibility Statement Corporate 2024

FinecoBank SpA is committed to making its website accessible, in accordance with Italian Law No. 4 of January 2004.

This Accessibility Statement applies to FinecoBank SpA for the following website https://about.finecobank.com/

Compliance status

This website is partially compliant with the requirements of Annex A of UNI EN 301549 (WCAG 2.1) due to the cases of non-compliance and/or exceptions listed below.

Not accessible contents

The contents listed below are not accessible for the following reasons: Non-compliance with Italian Law 4/2004.

1.4.3 Contrast (minimum): this website does not meet the minimum contrast ratio required by accessibility standards. For example, especially for grey text over a white background.

2.1 Keyboard Accessible: keyboard navigation is not always possible. For example, interactive elements on footer not receive keyboard focus and is therefore not accessible.

2.4.1 Block skipping: there are bypass block links within the site, but the link that points to the footer has not been implemented correctly.

2.4.4 Link purpose: there are generic links on several webpages. For example, on “CAMPAIGNS” page nearby links lead to the same landing page. This can make navigation difficult for users who use assistive technologies.

2.4.6 Labels or instructions: on site pages, heading levels are not always used consistently; for example, on the “INVESTORS” page there are two elements with heading level H1.

3.1.1 Page language: the page language attribute has not been set. As a result, some assistive technologies may not recognize the language used.

3.2.1 In focus: the user who navigates using assistive technologies does not perceive that the 'Activities' item in the main menu is expandable. Furthermore, the relevant sub-items are vocalized by the screen reader and intercepted by the keyboard focus even if the user has not expanded the item.

3.3.2 Labels or instructions: on the 'MEDIA' page, the date selection function is not accessible for users who navigate using screen readers, because the buttons are without labels. Furthermore, the labels associated with the social media icons in the footer could also cause difficulties in understanding.

To conclude, it should be noted that PDF documents downloadable from this website are partially accessible for screen reader users because they lack accessibility features such as hierarchical structure, headings, hyperlinks, and text alternatives.
