THE SPRING OF CULTURE

Fineco and FAI Together: A Valuable Collaboration.

In 2024, Fineco continues its journey in the field of sustainability, and confirms its commitment alongside the Fondo Ambiente Italiano (FAI), the Italian National Trust. Fineco is the Corporate Golden Donor of the FAI association since 2017. In the two-year period 2019 - 2020 Fineco has also been sponsor of the initiative of events called Eventi nei Beni FAI, giving its support through a rich calendar of manifestations organised within the heritage of the association and dedicated to the rediscovery of Italy's artistic and cultural heritage. Since 2020 has further broadened its scope by becoming a Main Sponsor in all its major initiatives.

Fineco has always expressed its commitment to sustainability also through its proximity to the territory, where it is present through its consultants to support families in managing their savings. In the same way, through our support for the FAI activities, of which we are a Main Sponsor for the fourth year running, we want to continue to be an integral part of its ongoing commitment to taking care of the country's artistic and cultural heritage.”.

"FAI Autumn Days"

For the third year running, Fineco is Main Sponsor of the FAI Autumn Days, the cultural initiative that promotes the discovery of our country’s landscape and artistic heritage, which will take place in October on Saturday 15th and Sunday 16th with over 700 openings in 350 locations in Italy.

Not only does the event offer the chance to visit locations that are usually inaccessible or little-known, but it also offers an opportunity to provide concrete support for the mission of the Italian Environment Fund - FAI, in preserving Italian cultural heritage.

Fineco shares this same mission, that of investing in the future. It therefore seemed natural to us to travel this road together, making our own contribution to supporting an initiative capable of concretely enhancing the value of a heritage that belongs to everyone, explained Paolo Di Grazia, Deputy General Manager of Fineco, regarding Fineco's decision to support FAI Spring Days. “Fineco is a bank that has focused on technological development from its inception, but at the same time has a strong physical presence in local communities thanks to one of the most extensive networks of financial advisors in Italy. We have chosen to involve our professionals in FAI's initiatives because Italy's widespread cultural and natural wealth is both unique and a challenge. We believe this challenge can be won, including through awareness-raising and the broadest possible participation in such high-profile initiatives”. As for Fineco and sustainability, “Being sustainable is part of our DNA because we have grown thanks to word of mouth and long-term relationships with satisfied customers”. From our point of view, integrating the objectives of economic, environmental and social sustainability into a long-term vision in an increasingly structured manner is the natural evolution of a path that began with the decision to focus on transparency and respect for our customers. To be robust a growth model must be sustainable. We applied this concept first to ourselves, and the results tell us that we are on the right path”.

"FAI Spring Days"

Fineco is once again the Main Sponsor of the “FAI Spring Days”, the great street festival dedicated to Italy's cultural heritage and landscape, which as per tradition returns on the first weekend of spring, on Saturday and Sunday, 26-27 March, with over 700 openings in 400 Italian cities.

Organised in full compliance with current health safety regulations, FAI Spring Days offer a unique opportunity for visitors to reconnect with the history and culture of Italy, allowing them to feel more engaged with the regions they live in, whose beauty and value they often do not fully appreciate. Participants will be able to experience historical villas and palaces, archaeological sites, churches of great architectural or historical-artistic value, examples of industrial archaeology, castles, libraries, art collections and museums. There will also be itineraries in the villages and educational visits to urban parks, botanical gardens and historic gardens.

The event, now in its 30th year, also offers participants the chance to support the mission of the Italian Environment Fund - FAI at this particularly delicate time.

“FAI's commitment to protecting Italy's artistic and cultural heritage is not only a sign of respect for our past, but above all an investment in tomorrow throughout Italy. Fineco shares this same mission, that of investing in the future. It therefore seemed natural to us to travel this road together, making our own contribution to supporting an initiative capable of concretely enhancing the value of a heritage that belongs to everyone”, explained Paolo Di Grazia, Deputy General Manager of Fineco, regarding Fineco's decision to support FAI Spring Days. “Fineco is a bank that has focused on technological development from its inception, but at the same time has a strong physical presence in local communities thanks to one of the most extensive networks of financial advisors in Italy. "FAI Spring Days"

“I would like to thank you for this time of sharing in the run-up to the start of a new edition that sees us once again alongside FAI, with which Fineco has a long-standing collaboration that began in 2017. Today we have chosen to strengthen this important partnership, first and foremost because we believe that sustainability in all its aspects, including cultural sustainability, is, and will increasingly be, one of the cornerstones of our strategy. In fact, for the Bank it represents a fundamental element of the path to creating long-term value, both for its stakeholders and for the country. In addition to doing business in an ethical and transparent manner, integrating the objectives of economic, environmental and social sustainability into our long-term strategy in an increasingly structured manner, Fineco has also distinguished itself in the field of art and culture. We believe that the care and value of artistic and cultural heritage is a strategic asset for the development of the territory. A development that for Fineco represents the proximity between our consultants and clients. In fact, we are convinced that the Bank must become a privileged interlocutor for the enhancement of the country's beauty. With FAI, we share a new way of supporting culture and promoting innovation, thanks in part to the role of our 2,700 consultants who are committed every day, together with the Bank, to enhancing the value of family assets and, at the same time, sustainability projects in the area. At a time of significant change for our country, being at FAI's side as Main Sponsor of the Spring and Autumn Days makes us look towards the future with confidence. A future that I am sure will see more and more people committed to protecting our wonderful natural and artistic heritage!” says Paolo Di Grazia, Deputy General Manager of Fineco, during the press conference to present the event of 7 October.

"2019 FAI Heritage Events"

Fineco made a significant contribution to putting together a calendar packed with a series of initiatives aimed at preserving Italy's historical and artistic heritage, while at the same time contributing to the country's socio-economic development.

These initiatives, inspired by the principles of education, protection and social responsibility, were closely linked to the concept of sustainability which is at the heart of Fineco's strategy, one which has always supported the well-being of individuals and the development of local communities.

FinecoBank was in attendance at some of the “FAI Heritage Events”, with our dedicated representatives present so we were able to create opportunities to meet and forge valuable relationships with a focus on the human side of our work, a distinctive feature that underpins the Bank's success.
