Water Defenders Alliance
In 2023 Fineco becomes Water Defender by joining the Water Defenders Alliance, the alliance promoted by LifeGate to concretely respond to the problems of our waters and reduce pollution of Italian seas.
FAI - National Trust for Italy
Fineco supports the FAI (National Trust for Italy): Corporate Golden Donor of the FAI since 2017, in the two-year period 2019 - 2020 Fineco was also sponsor of the “Events in the FAI properties”, a rich calendar of events organised within the Foundation's properties and dedicated to the rediscovery of the Italian artistic and cultural heritage. Since 2020 it has further expanded its own field of intervention by becoming Main Sponsor in all its most important initiatives.
Exhibition Cézanne / Renoir
Fineco enters the world of art by becoming a Premium Sponsor of the exhibition “Cézanne / Renoir - Masterpieces from the Musée de L'Orangerie and the Musée D'Orsay”, which will be held at the Palazzo Reale in Milan from 19 March to 30 June 2024, celebrating 150 years of Impressionism through the works of two of the movement's greatest masters: Paul Cézanne and Pierre-Auguste Renoir.
Charity initiatives
Since its foundation, Fineco has been committed to supporting effective charitable projects in various areas, including social and health care, training, education, culture and art, scientific research and environmental protection. Besides the donations it makes throughout the year, the most important charitable event is the Christmas Charity Campaign “Christmas with Fineco”, promoted on the Fineco website. In addition to the donations made by the Bank in favor of projects promoted by selected charitable organizations every year, the campaign also allows customers and non-customers to make donations. The Bank also supported some associations involved in important solidarity projects towards the Ukrainian population, affected by the war, the populations of Turkey and Syria, victims of the earthquake in 2023 and the communities of Emilia-Romagna affected by the floods in 2023. Recently the Donations section has been updated with new Associations and new projects to support, divided into thematic areas concerning the community, medical research, art, culture and the environment.
Women's Volleyball
Fineco is embracing sporting values by supporting the Italian Serie A Women's Volleyball League, becoming the new Gold Sponsor of the Coppa Italia 2024 and the Serie A Championships for the 2023-24 and 2024-35 seasons and taking on the role of Title Sponsor for the upcoming Supercoppa Italiana 2024.
Davide Morana, strength beyond limits
Davide Morana, paralympic sprinter of the Italian national team, was the testimonial for the Fineco & Visa “Invite a Friend” campaign. In this interview he tells us how he transformed his personal challenge into an opportunity to excel. His determination and passion have allowed him to overcome challenges on and off the athletics track and have led him to become an example of success and inspiration.
