Fabio Melisso graduated in Economics and Business Administration from Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore in Milan. He began his career in the financial services sector at ING Direct in Italy, where he became Project Manager for mutual funds. Five years later, he joined FinecoBank as Head of Strategy & Business Implementation, with responsibility for managing the Bank’s international business in the United Kingdom, as well as overseeing business development and strategic projects. In 2011, he was appointed Executive Managing Director and Head of Products & Services at DAB Bank in Germany, then part of UniCredit Group.

In 2018 Fineco Asset Management was founded and Melisso has served as Chief Executive Officer and Member of the Board of Directors since its inception.
Today, he is deputy General Manager and Chief Operating Officer at FinecoBank, with responsibility for the management and coordination of the organizational, operational, and technological structures that support the Bank’s core processes.
