He is Head of the Chief Risk Officer (CRO) Department.
He graduated in Computer Engineering from Politecnico di Milano in 2002 and began his career in the financial sector, focusing on the design and development of solutions for financial markets.
He joined the Company in 2007, initially within the ICT Department and subsequently within the Chief Risk Officer Department. In 2008, he completed an Executive MBA at SDA Bocconi School of Management.

Within Risk Management, he held positions of increasing seniority and, in 2010, was appointed Head of the Risk Management Unit, reporting directly to the CRO. He was appointed Chief Risk Officer in 2021.
As CRO, he is responsible for the oversight of capital adequacy and liquidity, as well as for ensuring the effectiveness of the Group’s risk management framework.
